Private Label Slippers: Logo Methods and Packaging Options
Embossing, printing and patches compared, plus how to choose packaging for retail and e-commerce.
Logo methods
The right logo method depends on the material, the surface area and the look you want. Always confirm it on a sample.
- Embossed or debossed: molded into the strap or footbed. Durable and tone-on-tone; may need a mold insert.
- Printed: screen or pad printing on straps or footbeds. Good for multi-color artwork and quick changes.
- Patches and labels: rubber, PVC or woven labels attached to the strap. Adds texture and a premium feel.
- Footbed prints: full-coverage graphics, popular for flip-flops and promotional products.
- Outsole branding: a molded logo on the outsole leaves a brand mark and helps identification.
Packaging options
Packaging should match how the product is sold. Retail shelves need hangtags, barcodes and often a color box; e-commerce needs protective, compact packs that keep shipping costs down; promotional orders may only need a simple polybag.
- Polybags: printed or plain, with suffocation warnings where required.
- Hangtags and stickers: brand story, size, material and barcode.
- Color boxes: premium presentation for retail and gifting.
- Carton marks: your PO number, style, color, size breakdown and quantity per carton.
Artwork checklist
Send vector artwork (AI, PDF or SVG), Pantone references, logo size and position, and any legal text your market requires on packaging. Approve a physical sample of the logo and packaging before bulk printing.
